Knocked, chipped or broken a tooth in an accident? We're a registered ACC treatment provider, so we can assess the injury, treat it, and handle the ACC claim paperwork for you, taking one stress off your plate at an already annoying time.
What ACC covers, in plain terms
ACC helps with the cost of treating accidental dental injuries: a sports knock, a fall, a bite on something hard, that kind of thing. It doesn't cover everyday wear or decay, but genuine accidents usually qualify, and we'll confirm eligibility and lodge the claim for you.
ACC may cover the bulk of eligible treatment, sometimes with a surcharge on top. We'll always explain any cost to you before we start, so there are no surprises. If your injury needs more than a quick fix, we'll map out the plan and keep the paperwork moving.
What ACC dental treatment costs you
ACC pays a set contribution toward eligible treatment for an accidental dental injury. Depending on what's needed, there can be a surcharge on top of the ACC contribution, so some visits are fully covered and others have a small out-of-pocket amount.
Either way, you won't be caught out: we explain any cost to you in writing before we begin, and we lodge the claim so you're not chasing paperwork. If you're unsure whether your injury qualifies, come in and we'll take a look.
