Getting here from Onehunga

It's an easy drive. From the Onehunga interchange, State Highway 20 carries you over the Māngere Bridge, past Māngere Bridge village and down to the SH20A exit at Kirkbride Road, where George Bolt Memorial Drive runs straight to the airport. Google Maps puts it at 9.9 km and 12 to 13 minutes.

Royal Oak and Hillsborough join the same motorway a minute or two earlier, so the timing is much the same from there. Park free outside the Auckland Airport Shopping Centre; we're next to The Airport Doctors.

What Onehunga patients come for

Onehunga patients tend to use us for the full mix: a check-up and clean twice a year, white fillings, crowns when a tooth has cracked, and the cosmetic side, teeth whitening, clear aligners and veneers, with a written quote before anything starts. New patients begin with a $79 exam including digital X-rays, or $149 with a scale and polish.

We're a family practice, so children's check-ups and free basic dental care for eligible teens, Year 9 to their 18th birthday, are part of the week, and same-day slots are kept every clinic day for toothache or a broken tooth. ACC claims for accidental injuries are lodged here, and we prepare free WINZ quotes for essential treatment.

Sunday appointments for Onehunga families

Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 10am to 3pm. Wednesday and Saturday by appointment, text us. A Sunday appointment means you don't need to take time off during the week, and the drive out to the airport is usually a quiet one.

Families get 15% off treatment, along with airport staff and local businesses. Mention it when you book and read the terms on our offers page.

Easy to reach from the central suburbs too

Twelve minutes down SH20 is often quicker than driving across to Newmarket or the city at the same time of day, and you won't be paying for a car park when you get here. Patients from Royal Oak, Epsom and Mt Roskill come the same way, and Onehunga is the closest of the central suburbs to our door.

Nervous about the dentist?

You're very welcome here, even if it's been a long time since you last saw a dentist. We take our time, show you what we see on the screen, and explain each option without any pressure. Ask for a longer first appointment when you book, or send a WhatsApp message to 022 852 4000 if you'd rather start that way.
