Google Maps puts the trip at 10.1 km and 16 to 18 minutes via SH20, and you're driving away from the city, so the afternoon rush mostly passes you in the other direction.

Same-day care when something hurts
Ōtāhuhu patients often find us because something has gone wrong on a weekend: a toothache that kept them up, a filling that fell out, a tooth knocked in sport. We hold same-day emergency slots every clinic day, including Sundays, and if the damage happened in an accident ACC may cover the treatment; we lodge the claim for you.
Extractions and wisdom teeth, root canal treatment to settle an infected tooth, and repairs with white fillings or crowns are all done here, with a written quote before we start anything beyond the assessment.
Everyday care for the whole whānau
Between emergencies, most of what we do for Ōtāhuhu families is routine: check-ups with digital X-rays, cleans, fillings, dentures and children's visits. New patients start at $79 for an exam including X-rays, or $149 with a scale and polish. Eligible teens get free basic dental care, Year 9 to their 18th birthday, so bring the teenagers too.
If you're on a benefit or a low income, Work and Income may help with essential treatment and we prepare the quote for free. Southern Cross Easy-Claim and Afterpay are available.
Open Sundays, near the airport
Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 10am to 3pm. Wednesday and Saturday by appointment, text us. Many Ōtāhuhu households have someone working at the airport, at the freight depots or at Middlemore, and a Sunday appointment means you don't have to take time off work for a check-up.
Airport staff, local businesses and families get 15% off treatment; the terms are on our offers page, and you only need to mention it when you book.
Been a while since your last visit?
That's fine, and you're not the only one. We'll have a look, tell you what we see in plain words, and work out together what needs doing now and what can wait. If you're nervous, just say so when you book and we'll give you a longer first appointment. Call or text 022 852 4000, or book online any time.
